Slack
Make an account, verify your token, and join the conversation.
👨👩👦👦 2. Go where the people are
Ok you're in the dashboard... now what?
Discord-based communities use channels to help direct conversation towards particular topics - intros, onboarding, active projects, location based.
You're guaranteed to settle in once you start to mingle with a group of people.
👋🏻 3. Dive into the DMs
Now that you've acquianted yourself, it's time to hit people up in their DMs.
One on one communication is the best place to build a strong connection with individuals in the community.
You'd be surprised how many people are receptive to a "gm" and casual conversation.
🏛4. Meet up at the next Town Hall
Town hall are live sessions open to all community members where the project roadmap is in the spotlight.
Introduce a proposal or initiative, or simply listen in on what the community is doing together.
It's also a great way to put names to faces and see who's taking initiative in your DAO.
🔨 5. Find a community project that resonates
A DAO will have at least one, if not more, active project(s) in the works when you join.
Project roadmap goals, community outreach, live & virtual events, merch drops.
Find one that peaks your interest and get involved. You'll show your investment in the community and build deep connections working alongside others.
